Fixation
A brief journey through the diverse worlds of moving image. The works are done by the artists of FixC co-operative.
Helsinki-based FixC is an independent artists co-operative, which was launched to generate, distribute and promote video art, media art and experimental cinema and to produce curated touring exhibitions and arrange screenings.

The piece is shot in a car in Sao Paolo during twenty-four hours. The car is stuck in a seemingly endless traffic jam; not a single vehicle moves. Upper class people isolate themselves in cars, only the homeless walk on the streets.

Terrible Light Creatures are also on guard. The general atmosphere of the piece is close to a fairytale or a horror story in reverse, where the most gentle creatures can look quite horrific.
